A Sense of Belonging

Janie had been in forster care eversince she was little. She'd never really had a mother. When her mother had died when Janie was 2, Janie became an orphan. That however, had been 6 years ago. To this day, Janie remembers nothing of her mother. So when the couple who were giving her forster care decided to adopt her, Janie was overjoyed. She would finally belong to someone!

After three weeks of living with her new, adoptive parents. Janie learned how much having a mother was a privellage. Not every one had one and Janie felt very lucky to finally have one she could call her own. Mothers are priceless beings. People whom, at times seem more valuable then life itself Janie realised. Janie was overjoyed to belong to parents who loved her. She at last felt like she belonged. Just like this was another, huge piece in the puzzle that was her life.

Dedicated to my Mum. The best mother any girl could have. Thanks for being there for me whenever I've needed you. Happy Mother's Day.

And to all the mothers out there. Your job is very hard and I congratulate you on having made it another year. Happy mother's day.
