Movie Nights

There was once an older woman who lived in a small town in Colourvale, Parkeston. This older woman was named Angela. Angela loved helping those around her, and playing with the children who lived in the neighbourhood.

Another of her loves was movies. So she rented out the local community hall and showed movies there every Saturday night for a small donation. The movies came from a company called Bigpond Movies. She would show 2 movies and put questionares for people on their seats.

But one day, the mayor of Parkeston wanted the movie nights to stop, as he claimed that it was copyright infringment because she was charging donations. The community was outraged. Angela was upset.

The mayor's wife, who attended the movie nights with their children, talked some sense into him. She said that it was a good community event, and the donations were split. Half went to charity, and half want towards renting the movies. And so the mayor aggreed to go with his wife that weekend to see what it was like. He liked it and agreed to let Angela continue to run the movie nights.

Two weeks later, Angela recieved the community service award from the mayor himself after several nominations from the community.

The movie nights continued until Angela's passing, when her children continued her work.
